My German Education

Ø      Three years at Morningside High School (1963-66).

Ø      Ten weeks in the Language Training Mission (Jun-Aug 1968).

Ø      Minor in German at BYU (1970-73) (25 sem hours)

 

My experiences living and working in German-speaking countries (over 5 years)

Ø      Lived in Frankfurt, Mannheim, Wiesbaden, und Wetzlar; serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from August 1968 to August 1970.

Ø      Lived in Wickrath (near Mönchengladbach) while serving as a NATO Officer at RAF Rheindahlen from October 1986 to October 1989).

Ø      Visited Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Austria several times.

Ø      Used my German skills in Turkey and Italy.

 

My experience teaching German (4 years)

Ø      Cheyenne High School, levels 1 to 3 (1993-94).

Ø      Private tutoring (1994)

Ø       Las Vegas Academy of International Studies, levels 1 to 5, theme classes 1 to 4 (1994-97).
